Claimed off waivers by the Yankees from the Cleveland Indians on 1/4…was with the Yankees until he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles on 2/5…played in 86G for Triple-A Norfolk, where he batted .276 (89-for-323) with 15 doubles, 1 triple, 11HR, 49RBI and 46R…hit .415 and slugged .815 vs. LHP (27-for-65, 7HR) while playing for the Tides…homered in three consecutive games from 4/8-10…also homered in back-to-back games on 4/28-29 and 5/13-14…had 25 multi-hit games…traded by the Orioles to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Tim Alderson on 7/12… played in 39G for Triple-A Indianapolis and hit .194 (25-for-129) with 3XBH.
