Chad Lee Beck... Selected by the Diamondbacks in the 14th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft... Attended LouisanaLafayette College. 2012 Was recalled from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League on five separate occasions...Appeared in 14 games out of the bullpen...Pitched more than one inning in just two out of 14 outings...Did record a career high 3.2 innings on June 11 vs. WAS...Left-handed batters hit .310, while right-handed hitters .324...In 43 games with Las Vegas posted a record of 2-0 with a 1.31 ERA...Led the squad with 18 saves, going 18-19 in save situations...Was a career high in saves and career low ERA...Named to the Pacific Coast League roster in the 2012 AAA All-Star Game. 2011 Made three appearances with the Blue Jays and split the rest of the season between Dunedin (A), New Hampshire (AA) and Las Vegas (AAA)... ML DEBUT: Made his ML Debut Sept. 13 at BOS and threw just one pitch to retire Dustin Pedroia, the only hitter he faced...
