Jesus Feliciano attended Adacemia Discipulos de Cristo High School in Bayamon, Puerto Rico...Played baseball and volleyball...Attended Miami-Dade Community College and hit .400 during his only season...His father, Jesus, played for the Puerto Rican National Team for 16 years. Represented Puerto Rico as a member of the baseball team in the 1988 and 1992 Olympics...Was the flag bearer for the 1988 Opening Ceremonies in Seoul, Korea. 2011 Combined to bat .268 (114-for-425) with 39 RBI at Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Buffalo in the Mets system...spent the majority of the season with Buffalo with the exception of an 8-game stint in Binghamton in April...at Buffalo, hit .300 (88-for-293) against righties but just .153 (15-for- 98) against lefties. 2010 After 13 seasons in the minors, served his first and only stint thus far in the major leagues with the Mets when he played 54 games as a replacement for Jason Bay while he was on the disabled list...made 19 starts and hit .231 (25-for- 108), finishing the season in the majors...opened the year in Triple-A Buffalo and hit .339 (114-for- 336) before his call-up on June 10. 2009 Won the Sterling Award for Buffalo (AAA) of the International League after hitting .311 and appearing in 130 games...Led the IL in hits...Became just the eighth Bisons player in the modern era to reach the 150-hit plateau...Had a team-leading 30 doubles and picked up at least one hit in 17 of his last 18 games...Hit .389 (28-72) over the stretch...Played for Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic, hitting .375 (6-16) in six games...Hit .352 with 12 doubles, two triples, and 14 RBI in 39 games for Lobos de Arecibo in the Puerto Rican Winter League...Was named to the Caribbean Series All-Tournament team, after batting .481 (13-27) with one home run and five RBI for Puerto Rico. 2008 Had a career-high 509 at-bats for New Orleans (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League...Finished second in the PCL in hits. 2007 In his first year in the Mets organization, hit a personal-best .315 while appearing in 90 games for New Orleans. 2005 Started the year in the Mexican League before joining Washington's organization on May 4th. 2004 Split the year between Class-A Bakersfield and Double-A Montgomery in the Rays system. 2003 Released by Los Angeles (NL) and signed with Tampa Bay as a minor league free agent on June 9th. 2001 Hit his first professional home run on April 8th at home against St. Lucie. 1998 Made his professional debut with Yakima (A) of the Northwest League...Led the league in at-bats and finished second in stolen bases.
