Jeremiah Lee an Illinois State University alum...played shortstop and closed for the Redbirds...earned All Missouri Valley Conference honors as a shortstop in 2003...the year prior, earned All-MVC honorable mention as a closer...posted 12 career saves and hit .333 with 6 home runs in 183 collegiate at-bats...spent the Summer of '03 playing in Alaska for Athletes in Action...played well while pitching in the 49th state, caught the eye of a Giants scout and signed with the Giants despite not being drafted. 2012 Spent majority of season with the Indians, posting a 4.58 ERA in 26 games...after being designated for assignment and released by the Tribe in early August, signed with the A's organization on August 15...after 7-game stint with Sacramento of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League, pitched in only one game for the A's (Sept. 27 at TEx)...combined to strikeout a career-high 7.0 batters per 9.0 innings for CLE and 14 Triple-A appearances in '12, ERA was 2.25. 2011 Spent the season in the Baltimore organization, splitting time between the Orioles and Triple-A Norfolk after signing a one-year Major League free agent contract in December 2010...Picked up the win in his Orioles debut on April 2 at Tampa Bay...Worked a season-high 2.1 innings June 7 vs. Oakland...Struck out season-high three batters in 2.0 innings June 3 vs. Toronto...
