Attended spring training as a non-roster invitee with Cleveland...Spent all but one game of the season with Triple-A Columbus...Made two appearances with the Clippers before having his contract selected by Cleveland on 4/9...Went hitless in his only at bat with the Indians on 4/9 before being optioned back to Columbus on 4/16 for the remainder of the season...Hit his first of three homers on 5/8 vs. Charlotte...Hit .310 (22-for-71) while collecting 10 of his 23 RBI during the month of May...Made first professional pitching appearance on 7/8 vs. Indianapolis; allowed five runs (4 ER) on five hits in 1.0 inning of relief...Threw out 21 percent (15-of-73) of the runners attempting to steal against him.
