Single...Graduated from Freehold (NJ) Township HS...Attended Rutgers University and batted .353 with 11 HR and 50 RBI in his senior season...Was the Rookie of the Year while playing for the Eastern Tides in the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2000...Was signed by Orioles scout Jim Howard. 2006 Spent the entire season at AAA Ottawa but joined the Orioles for one day in April without appearing in a game...Was recalled by the Orioles on April 18 when David Newhan was placed on the disabled list...Was optioned back to the Lynx the next day, with Luis Terrero taking his spot on the roster. wBatted .162 in his first 12 games of the season at Ottawa before suffering a strained right oblique muscle...
