He and his wife Mandy reside in Rouse Hill, Australia during the off-season. 2010 Started 11 games for Sydney in the Australian Winter League following the 2010 season, compiling a 4-2 record, 2.23 ERA (68.2IP/17ER) and 71 strikeouts -- led the league with 71 strikeouts, while he tied for third with a 2.23 ERA. 2009 Released by the LG Twins in May of 2009 -- underwent surgery to remove bone chips in his right elbow in June of 2009...Underwent right elbow reconstruction surgery in July of 2009. 2008 Started 29 games for the LG Twins in the Korean Baseball League during the 2008 season. 2007 Assigned to Triple A Nashville by the Milwaukee Brewers during the 2007 season after signing with the organization during the off-season as a minor league free agent...Finished 2-1 with a 2.39 ERA (26.1IP/7ER) in five starts during April...Fanned a season-high 10 batters on June 11 at Memphis...Released by the Brewers organization on July 10 so he could sign with the LG Twins in the Korean Baseball League. 2006 Spent the entire 2006 season with Hanshin in the Japanese Baseball League. 2005 A native of Australia who starred in the Athens Summer Games for the silver-medalist Aussies, Oxspring fulfilled a dream by making it to the Major Leagues as a September call-up and performed capably in five appearances.
