Signed by Orioles scout Salvador Ramirez. 2005 The hard-throwing reliever spent the entire season with Triple-A Ottawa. He was 2-3 with a 3.77 ERA in 50 games. He allowed just 57 hits in 62 innings and just two homers. 2004 Was recalled from AAA Ottawa on May 27 and remained with the Orioles throughout the summer... Was optioned back to Ottawa on August 24 and finished the season there before being recalled again on September 7. Made his major league debut on May 31 at Boston, pitching 2.0 innings...Retired the first 3 batters he faced, striking out David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez, and stranding 2 runners...Allowed a solo home run to Kevin Millar in his 2nd inning of work.
