Originally signed by the Pirates as a non-drafted free agent on January 4, 1999. 2006 Split his 2nd season in the Texas Rangers' organization between AAA Oklahoma and AA Frisco, with a 5-week stay on the disabled list...Combined to bat .250 (63-252)...Had his lowest totals in hits, doubles, triples, homers and RBI in 4 years, and had the lowest stolen base total (15) since stealing 5 bases in 12 games in his first year in the Gulf Coast League in 2000...Began the year at Oklahoma...Played primarily center field (13 games), but also saw time in right field (3) and second base (2)...Had his only extra base hit and RBI in his 2nd start on April 8 vs. Memphis...Had his only multi-hit game for the RedHawks on April 17 at Nashville, going 2-for-3...Did not steal a base until April 20 at
