Was a 3-time First Team All-American in 4 seasons at USF, where he left as the program's all-time leader in hits (287), HR (60), extra-base hits (121), RBI (222), runs (213), walks (116) and total bases (536)... Was a 2-time finalist for the Rotary Smith Award (1999, 2000)... Became the first unanimous West Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1999 while setting singleseason conference records with 84 hits, 30 HR, 82 RBI, 45 extra-base hits, 71 runs scored and 191 total bases... Hobby: Playing with his dog, Zubi, a Jack Russell terrier...
