Jason Andre Karnuth...graduated from Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) High School in 1994...twice lettered in baseball and golf...attended Illinois State University...originally signed by St. Louis Cardinals scout Jim Belz. 2005 Spent the entire regular season with Triple-A Toledo and was promoted to Detroit on September 16 after the Mud Hens won the International League Championship...made three relief appearances with the Tigers and posted a 5.40 ERA and .286 opponents batting average...made his Detroit debut on September 19 at Kansas City (0.1 ip, 2 h, 1 r, 1 er)...that was his first appearance in the Majors since May 5, 2001 at Atlanta...was 7-2 with 23 saves and a 2.13 ERA in 63 relief appearances with Toledo...finished third in the International League in appearances and tied
