CC Sabathia went 19-8 with a 3.37 ERA and a 197/67 K/BB ratio over 230 innings during the 2009 regular season.
Sabathia wasn't quite as good as he was in the previous two seasons, but he still turned in numbers that ranked among the best of the game's starting pitching crop. The big lefty was especially dominant in the second half, going 11-2 with a 2.74 ERA and 102 Ks in 101 2/3 innings. In the prime of his career at 29, Sabathia is fully capable of duplicating this sort of Cy Young-quality effort in 2010.
