Graduated from Gilberto Concepcion High School in 1991 in Carolina, Puerto Rico...as a youngster, he toured Spain, South America and France while playing with the Raiders, an amatuer baseball team from Carolina, Puerto Rico...has a daughter, Hailey (5/7/96). 2004
  • Started the season at Triple-A Norfolk, where he batted .262 (17-65) and hit in 14-of-18 games before being released on 5/17 by the Mets.
  • Was signed by Cleveland on 5/20 as a minor league free agent and assigned to Triple-A Buffalo.
  • Hit safely in five of his first six games with Buffalo (.346, 9-26) with a HR and six RBI.
  • Had contract purchased by Indians on 6/15 and went 1-for-11 (.091) in seven games (two starts, both in RF). His only hit came in a 1-for-3 outing on 6/18 at ATL.
