Giants add Lollis, Osich, put Hudson on DL

The Giants made a flurry of roster moves Friday to fill their ever-changing needs, which primarily stem from injuries.

Giants pitchers' return won't cause issue after all

Somewhat remarkably, the composition of the Giants' five-man starting rotation, which recently loomed as a compelling issue, solved itself. The Giants' chief decision-makers, including manager Bruce Bochy and baseball operations czar Brian Sabean, had wondered how the rotation would absorb Matt Cain and Jake Peavy when they were prepared to leave the disabled list. That's no longer an issue, though the solution's likely to be temporary.
