2011 marks first year as Angels' bench coach following appointment November 10, 2010...Joined Angels' organization in 2006 and spent five seasons as roving infield coordinator...Spent previous 20 seasons in San Diego Padres' organization, serving as third base coach (2003-05), bench coach (1993-2002), first base coach (mid-1990-92), roving infield instructor (1988-1990) and minor league manager (1986-87) at rookie-level Spokane...Earned 1987 Northwest League Manager of Year honors after leading Indians to league title with 54-22 record...Owns a 93-57 (.620) managerial record in two seasons.
