Selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 48th round of the 1992 June draft...graduated from McComb (MS) HS, where he played won state championship in his senior year. 1996 Began season with Nashville...led squad in stolen bases and tied for club lead in triples...batted .322 in 29 games in May for the Sounds...recalled by Pittsburgh on August 11 and went hitless in first 3 games before recording 10-game hit streak from August 18-29, batting .459 (17-37) during that stretch...hit .354 in 14 games in August for the Pirates... 2005 Signed with Texas over the off-season after spending the 2005 season in the Kansas City organization...has spent time in the major leagues with Pittsburgh, Boston and Kansas City, compiling a career .260 average with 11 home runs and 80 RBI in 422 games.
