Pirates acquire infielder Sellers from Indians

The Pirates made a host of roster moves Saturday, headlined by the acquisition of infielder Justin Sellers from the Indians for cash considerations.

Pittsburgh also reinstated right-hander Charlie Morton from the 60-day disabled list and designated right-handers John Axford and Jeanmar Gomez for assignment.

Sellers, 28, appeared in 17 games for the Indians last season, hitting .188 (3-for-16) while playing second, shortstop and third base. He spent the previous three seasons in the Dodgers organization.
