Tigers to host Game Three of the ALDS at Comerica Park on Sunday

DETROIT - The American League Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers will host the American League East Division Champion Baltimore Orioles for Game Three of the American League Division Series on Sunday, October 5 at 3:45 p.m. at Comerica Park. · All fans will receive a Detroit Tigers Rally Towel, courtesy of MotorCity Casino Hotel.  

·  First Pitch: The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by 2006 American League Championship Series MVP Placido Polanco.

·  National Anthem: The national anthem will be performed by the Vision Male Vocal Ensemble, from the Detroit School of Arts. A 300' x 150' American flag will be presented on the Comerica Park outfield. In addition, the Michigan Army National Guard Color Guard will present our nation's colors.

·  Game Ball Delivery: Sergeant Joshua Dietrich and Specialist Shannon Dietrich of the United States Army National Guard from Grand Rapids, Michigan will deliver the game ball. Both Sergeant Dietrich and Specialist Dietrich just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Sergeant Dietrich also served a tour in Iraq and has earned an Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals and has proudly served in the Army National Guard for seven years. Specialist Dietrich has earned an Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and has proudly served the Army National Guard for five years.  

·  AL Central Champions Gear: Tigers fans still have the opportunity to purchase the same official apparel worn by the team during the postgame clubhouse celebration. Postseason gear is available at The D Shop, at Comerica Park on the corner of Witherell Street and Montcalm Street.
