Savannah's Reddick has 'bulldog' mentality

Josh Reddick, OF, Athletics
Hometown: Guyton, Ga.

Reddick was born in Savannah, Ga., played his high school ball at South Effingham High in Guyton and then went on to Middle Georgia College before he was drafted by the Red Sox in 2006.

As a freshman at Middle Georgia in 2006, Reddick batted .461 and was named the Region XVII Junior College Player of the Year.

Reddick is a staunch supporter of the University of Georgia football team, so much so that he has a tattoo of the Georgia mascot -- the bulldog -- on his shoulder.

In the offseason, he resides in Guyton.
