Challenge overturns stolen base call in second inning

NEW YORK -- The Astros won a replay challenge in the second inning of Friday's game against the Mets.

Dexter Fowler was originally called out on a stolen base that would have ended the second inning, but the umpires overturned the call after a replay challenge by Astros interim manager Tom Lawless. Fowler wound up stranded at second base when Jonathan Villar grounded out.

The Astros have been involved in 88 total replay reviews, including 32 Astros challenges, 40 opponent challenges and 16 umpire reviews. The Astros have been successful in 19 of their 32 challenges.
