CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox and Comcast SportsNet (CSN) Chicago will host "Hawk & Stone Live from Club Konerko" game broadcast on Saturday, September 27, as the White Sox honor team captain Paul Konerko in a ceremony prior to the 6:10 p.m. game vs. Kansas City.
White Sox announcers Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone will join fans in "Club Konerko" Section 159 to broadcast the game. This will be their second broadcast from the stands this season.
"Saturday will be a tremendous celebration of the legacy Paul Konerko has created during his 16 years with the White Sox," said Harrelson. "Steve and I had a lot of fun during our first telecast from the stands this season, and we really are looking forward to Saturday's excitement and buzz surrounding the pre-game festivities for Paulie and then the ballgame. This celebration will be something you have to see."
"Club Konerko" is a month-long promotion in Sections 158 and 159 (total of 1,176 seats) that honors retiring captain Paul Konerko. Fans who purchase tickets in one of the two designated sections for any remaining game will receive a special Paul Konerko collectible and "Thank You, Paulie" sign to be picked up at the Chicago Sports Depot before the game. An online overview of Club Konerko giveaway items is available at whitesox.com/Konerko.
"Club Konerko" section tickets are sold out for Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to all four remaining White Sox games are available online at whitesox.com, via phone at 866-SOX-GAME and in person at the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office.
