Romine's steal stands after White Sox challenge

DETROIT -- The White Sox challenged an eighth-inning call on an Andrew Romine steal attempt Tuesday night at Comerica Park.

After drawing a two-out walk from Maikel Cleto, Romine was ruled safe by second-base umpire Andy Fletcher, prompting manager Robin Ventura's challenge. The video review resulted in the call standing and Romine keeping his 11th stolen base. Rajai Davis then struck out, and the Tigers took a 3-0 lead into the ninth.

The White Sox rallied against David Price in the ninth, scoring three runs to tie the game.
