Credential applications for 2014 Division Series games are due Friday

DETROIT - The media credential application for potential 2014 American League Division Series games at Comerica Park is available at Only one application per media outlet will be accepted and must be completed by a sports editor or sports director no later than Friday, September 26.

Media outlets requesting credentials must have an affiliate identification number before beginning the online application process. Outlets who have recently applied for credentials to cover Major League Baseball jewel events (World Baseball Classic, All-Star Game, League Championship Series, World Series) should have received an affiliate identification number. Media outlets that have not previously applied online for media credentials through Major League Baseball should contact Kate Ready in the Detroit Tigers Media Relations department via email at to receive an affiliate identification number.

Members of the Baseball Writers Association of America will not need to request credentials for ALDS games at Comerica Park as current BBWAA cards will be honored. However, please be sure to inform the Tigers media relations department if you will be attending so that proper seating arrangements can be made.

Credentials issued through this process will be valid only for ALDS games played at Comerica Park. Media interested in covering Detroit Tigers ALDS games on the road must apply for credentials through the home club. Credentials for the League Championship Series and World Series are assigned and distributed by Major League Baseball. Media interested in covering these events must apply online at

Any potential American League Wild Card game at Comerica Park will be credentialed in the same manner as regular season games. MLB season credentials, Detroit Tigers season credentials and BBWAA cards will be honored for a Wild Card game. Daily passes may be requested by applying under the 2014 Detroit Tigers Wild Card application at
