Mariners salute fans with annual fan appreciation night & kids appreciation day

The Seattle Mariners celebrate our "True to the Blue" fans with drawings for dozens of prizes including 2015 Opening Night tickets, the chance to watch an inning with Edgar Martinez, ROOT SPORTS Junior Broadcaster for a day, concert tickets, and a host of player-autographed memorabilia. There will also be a drawing each inning for a trip, all at Fan Appreciation Night and Kids Appreciation Day celebrations at Safeco Field on September 26 and 28, as the Mariners take on the Los Angeles Angels.


Fan Appreciation Night


Fan Appreciation Night is Friday, September 26. Game time is 7:10pm. All fans through the gates will receive a free team poster with a preview of the 2015 schedule. During the pregame ceremony, which begins at 6:30pm, the Mariners will present the 5th Annual Fan of the Year Awards and recognize the ROOT SPORTS Ultimate Northwest Fans from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.


The Baseball Writers Association of America Seattle Chapter will present the annual Mariners team awards including Pitcher of the Year, Player of the Year, Unsung Hero and Heart & Hustle Awards.


Prizes All Game Long


During each half-inning break, fans will have the chance to win a variety of prizes by random drawing including a trip an inning. Prizes include two Holland America Line cruises, two pair of roundtrip Alaska Airlines tickets, a 2015 Grand Slam Spring Training tour package, getaways to Suncadia Resort, the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC, and Skamania Lodge. Other prizes include a $250 Seattle Mariners Team Store gift card, flat screen TV, Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and a one year unlimited T-Mobile data plan, the chance to watch an inning of Friday's game with Edgar Martinez, and a variety of autographed jerseys, caps and baseballs. Kids Appreciation Day, Sunday, September 28

The festivities continue on Sunday, September 28, with Kids Appreciation Day, presented by Ivar's & Kidd Valley. Game time is 1:10 p.m. All kids 14 and under will receive a Mariner Moose poster and be entered to win great prizes to be drawn at random during the game including autographed memorabilia, the chance to be a ROOT SPORTS broadcaster for a day, tickets to 2015 games, the chance to throw out a first pitch next season and much more.
