Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland Indians announced that Wednesday's game vs. Minnesota has been postponed and will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader on Thursday, September 11 vs. Minnesota.
Fans holding tickets to the September 10 postponed game who want to attend the September 11 doubleheader must exchange their tickets at the Progressive Field Ticket Office beginning at 9AM Thursday morning, for a ticket dated September 11. All gates will open at 11AM.
Fans holding tickets dated September 10 and who cannot attend the September 11 doubleheader can exchange by September 24 for one of five eligible games - Sept. 22-24, Sept. 26 or Sept. 28. Those exchanges also can be made at the Progressive Field Ticket Office beginning at 9AM Thursday morning.
Thursday's doubleheader will be televised on SportsTime Ohio and broadcast on WTAM-1100 and the Indians Radio Network.
Before the doubleheader, the Indians will honor Major George Polarek, the director of the Salvation Army's 9/11 World Trade Center relief efforts, with a ceremonial first pitch.
