CLEVELAND -- Nipping at the heels of a second consecutive postseason entry, the Indians are once again giving fans the opportunity to secure tickets for October, just in case.
Starting Monday, fans can participate in the Tribe's Playoff Payoff Program. By placing a deposit on full- or half-season ticket packages for 2015, fans can ensure access to '14 postseason tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Deposits range from $500 (half season) to $1,000 (full season).
The Indians note that this is the only way for fans who are not current season-ticket holders to guarantee themselves 2014 postseason tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Fans who participate in the program will receive a discount on both the postseason tickets and the '15 season tickets.

Current season-ticket holders received invoices for 2014 postseason tickets Monday, and they have until Wednesday, Sept. 17, to purchase them before they go on sale to the general public.
Information about the sale of 2014 single-game postseason tickets to the general public will be released soon.
The Indians entered play Monday five games behind the Royals in the American League Central standings (and three outs away from securing a victory over Kansas City in the Aug. 31 contest that will be resumed on Sept. 22 in Cleveland). The Tribe is just 3 1/2 games back of the Mariners in the race for the AL's second Wild Card spot.
