Napoli exits game with illness

BOSTON -- Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli exited Saturday night's 4-3 win over the Blue Jays after the second inning because of nausea and lightheadedness. Teammate Brock Holt left Friday's game in the 10th inning with dizziness and didn't play Saturday.

"I don't know if it's similar to the symptoms that Brock is going through," manager John Farrell said. "Precautionary, had to get [Napoli] off his feet."

Napoli singled up the middle to start the second and eventually came home when Will Middlebrooks hit a line-drive single to left. Napoli talked to trainers in the dugout and then headed to the clubhouse. He was not available for comment after the game.

Allen Craig moved from right field to first base and Daniel Nava entered the game to play right.
