Third to first

• Alexei Ramirez did not start Sunday's series finale against Detroit. Leury Garcia played shortstop, as Ramirez missed just his second game this season.

• Jose Abreu extended his hitting streak to 12 games Sunday with a single in the fourth inning. Adam Eaton stretched his hitting streak to seven.

• Dunn had a humorous take on his friendship with White Sox captain Paul Konerko.

"The relationships that you make are going to last longer than when you play. Me and Paul will be friends forever," Dunn said. "He's older, so he'll probably die first. But you can't say any more about him that hasn't already been said."

• Moises Sierra returned from his injury rehab assignment on Sunday, taking the vacated roster spot of Alejandro De Aza, who was traded to the Orioles on Saturday. He pinch-ran for Dayan Viciedo in the seventh and replaced him in left field in the eighth.
