• Class A Spokane right-hander Nick Gardewine has been named the Northwest League Pitcher of the Week for Aug. 18-24. It's the second time in three weeks for Gardewine, a seventh-round pick in 2013 from Kaskaskia (Ill.) College.

• Utility player Drew Robinson has been promoted from Double-A Frisco to Triple-A Round Rock.
