The last time the Mariners finished a season with a winning road record was 2003 (43-38).

• When Dustin Ackley hit a three-run homer in Saturday's 7-3 win, he increased his RBI total to a career-best 53 for the season. Ackley finished last year with 50 RBIs.

• The Mariners are averaging 4.85 runs per game since the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline, which ranks third in the Majors for August. They averaged 3.83 runs a game in the first four months of the season.
