• With another RBI on Saturday night, J.P. Arencibia has 23 RBIs since the All-Star break, tied for the third-most in the Major Leagues. His seven homers during that stretch are tied for third in the American League and tied for fourth in the Majors.
• Double-A Frisco's Joey Gallo homered again Saturday night, giving him 39 on the season. Tom Robson holds the franchise's Minor League record with 41 homers in 1974 for Spokane.
• Miles Mikolas and Nick Martinez are scheduled to start for the Rangers in their two-game series against the Marlins and both hail from the Miami area. Mikolas is from Jupiter, Fla. and attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Martinez was born in Miami and attended Belen Jesuit High School there.
• Outfielder Engel Beltre left Saturday's Arizona League game with "general soreness" in his right leg. He sustained a fractured tibia earlier this year. His status will be evaluated to determine whether he should continue his rehab assignment.
