• Matt Zaleski's trip to the mound Sunday against Triple-A Durham set the all-time Charlotte team record with his 74th career start. Zaleski tied the mark held by Charlie Haeger on July 24 against the Indianapolis Indians. The native of Arlington Heights, Ill., has made 313 Minor League appearances and 110 of them have been starts.

Paul Konerko made his final career appearance against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

• Class A Kannapolis right-handed pitcher Andre Wheeler has thrown 17 consecutive scoreless innings over his last four games (three starts), including five innings Saturday night during a victory at Greensboro.

Wheeler, the White Sox 15th-round pick in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, has posted a 3-3 record with a 2.99 ERA and 99 strikeouts over 87 1/3 innings in 26 games with Kannapolis this season.

• Tyler Barnette, the White Sox 14th-round selection in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, was promoted Sunday from Kannapolis to Charlotte. The right-handed hurler has pitched in 37 games between his stops at Kannapolis and Bristol, with 17 coming as a starter. He has posted a 5.35 ERA during his Minor League career. Barnette played collegiately at UNC Charlotte.
