Kansas City, Kan., which has a team represented at the RBI World Series for the first time, joins teams from Miami, Fla., Philadelphia, Pa. and St. Louis, Mo. as #1 seeds in their respective playoff brackets at the 2014 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) World Series, the international baseball and softball championship tournament of the Major League Baseball RBI program. All RBI World Series teams are competing in elimination games tomorrow for the opportunity to play in the championship games at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the home of the Texas Rangers, tomorrow, Monday, August 11th. The Senior Division Baseball Championship will air on MLB Network and MLB.com on Saturday, August 16th at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Divisional playoffs (East vs. West) begin today, August 10th in Grapevine (Oak Grove Ballfield Complex and Grapevine High School) and Colleyville (Colleyville High School) beginning at 8:00 a.m. CT. Following is the full tournament seeding for the elimination round of the 2014 RBI World Series:
