Worth noting

• Right-hander Logan Ondrusek was scheduled to long-toss on Friday and throw a bullpen session on Saturday, three days after he did both in his first throwing session since going on the disabled list on July 22 with a strained right shoulder.

• Second baseman Brandon Phillips swung a bat Thursday for the first time since undergoing surgery on July 11 to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.

"That seemed to go all right," Price said Friday. "We'll see how he feels today to see if he can keep going or if we have to back off a little bit."
