• Left-hander Marco Gonzales earned his first Triple-A win with a strong seven-inning start on Tuesday. Gonzales allowed two runs (both solo homers) on five hits and did not allow a walk. He struck out seven.

• After hitting .378/.475/.815 with eight doubles, 14 homers and 38 RBIs in 35 games with the Class A Short-Season State College (Pa.) club, outfielder Rowan Wick earned a promotion to Class A Peoria (Ill.).
