Worth noting

• A day after a collision knocked him out of Saturday's win, Matt Holliday passed an additional round of tests and returned to the lineup Sunday night. The Cardinals had already ruled out a possible concussion.

• Left-hander Kevin Siegrist (left forearm strain) is expected to make a multiple-inning relief appearance on Monday as part of his rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield. If all goes well, this could be his last outing before being activated from the disabled list.

• Starters Zach Petrick and Boone Whiting pitched consecutive seven-inning shutouts in Memphis' doubleheader sweep over Colorado Springs on Saturday. Randal Grichuk's solo homer accounted for the Game 1 run. Xavier Scruggs drove home both runs in Game 2 with his 10th home run of the season.
