Worth noting

• The Phillies collected 13 hits Sunday, but managed just two runs. It is the first time since July 17, 2001, against the Yankees that they had that many hits and scored fewer than three runs in a game.

• Reliever Justin De Fratus extended his scoreless innings streak to 17 straight. Entering Sunday, the young reliever was tied for third with the longest active streak in baseball.

• Closer Jonathan Papelbon continues to make a case for an All-Star Game selection as he added another inning to his scoreless appearances at Citizens Bank Park. Papelbon has not given up a run in 19 straight home outings.

• One day after the Phillies outrighted infielder Ronny Cedeno to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, they traded the veteran to the D-backs for Minor League prospect Raywilly Gomez. Cedeno played just seven games this season with the Phils and went 0-for-9. In Gomez, the Phillies pick up a 24-year-old catcher who has yet to play above Double-A.
