Noel Arguelles faced the minimum over two innings, yielding one hit while striking out three. Lane Adams provided all of the scoring with a three-run homer in the eighth. He has six home runs over his last 10 games after hitting two through his first 67 contests.

His second-inning single snapped a stretch of 21 innings without a hit for Wilmington.
