• With a hit on Tuesday, outfielder Adam Eaton reached safely in his 19th consecutive game -- the longest for a White Sox lefty since outfielder Juan Pierre reached in 18 straight in 2011.

• The White Sox loss to the Orioles on Monday was their eighth straight on the road.

"This is just not getting that run, that extra hit that we need," Ventura said, comparing this year's skid to some of last year's struggles. "There's a lot of different things that go into it. It's not as sloppy as last year."
