PHILADELPHIA -- Cubs manager Rick Renteria lost a challenge in the top of the eighth inning on Saturday afternoon on a play at first base in which right fielder Nate Schierholtz was ruled out.

With Philadelphia leading, 7-4, and runners on first and second, Schierholtz grounded to Jimmy Rollins, who flipped it to second baseman Chase Utley for a forceout. Utley then threw to Ryan Howard for the double play at first, where first-base umpire Kerwin Danley called Schierholtz out.

Renteria challenged the call, and after a review, the call stood and the inning was over. The Phillies went on to win the game, 7-4.
