Final Mock: Mayo's picks for the first round

This is it, the last crack at projection the first round of the 2014 Draft. With still no real clarity about who the Houston Astros are going to take at the top, it's tough, not just for us prognosticators, but also for the teams picking behind them, to line things up. But Jim Callis and I are going to give it one last try.

Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft begins tonight with a preview show on and MLB Network at 6 ET. Live Draft coverage from MLB Network's Studio 42 begins at 7 p.m., with the top 74 picks being streamed on and broadcast on MLB Network.'s exclusive coverage of the second and third days will begin with a live Draft show at 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday.'s coverage includes Draft Central, the Top 200 Draft Prospects list and Draft Tracker, a live interactive application that includes a searchable database of Draft-eligible players.
