Right-hander Jeff Manship, who suffered a strained right quad while trying to beat out an infield grounder in the bottom of the 13th on Saturday night, was placed on the 15-day disabled list, and outfielder/first baseman Darin Ruf was optioned to the IronPigs.
Jimenez posted a 1.67 ERA in 19 games, including two starts, for Lehigh Valley. In 27 innings, he allowed 15 hits while striking out 22 and walking seven. Aumont had a 4.12 ERA but hadn't allowed a run in six of his past seven relief appearances.
"It's a work in progress down there," Aumont said. "Every day I was doing drills on the mound. It's all about being on the mound, for me. I think just doing that every day, I think I figured some things out. It's feeling much more comfortable, I'm not saying it's perfect. I feel like I'm getting there."
Both Jimenez and Aumont appeared in Sunday's 4-3, 11-inning loss to the Mets. Jiminez worked a scoreless eighth inning, while Aumont was tagged with the loss after surrendering a two-out, two-run home run to Lucas Duda in the 11th.
