Mark Threlkeld was 2-for-3 with a double and a run. Micah Gibbs added two hits and a stolen base.

The 23-year old was 4-1 with a 1.76 ERA at Lexington. 2013 first-round pick and sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier doubled home a pair in the third, bringing his team-leading RBI total to 26. Cam Gallagher and Daniel Rockett each drove in a run in the ninth.
