ANAHEIM -- The Angels' Albert Pujols added two home runs Sunday to his assault on baseball history. Nos. 503 and 504 in his career moved him into a tie with Hall of Fame first baseman Eddie Murray for 25th on the Major League all-time list.

Pujols, who hadn't homered since May 4, hit his 11th of the season in the first inning, a shot to dead-center off Rays left-hander David Price. He lined his 12th homer, also off Price, to left field in the seventh, to power the Angels' 6-2 victory at Angel Stadium.

Garry Sheffield is Pujols' next target, at 509.

Pujols, who broke his tie with Lou Gehrig for 33rd in career doubles on Saturday night with his 535th, remains reluctant to talk about his place in history -- although he did make an exception when he hit his 500th homer in Washington last month.

"Winning is my focus," Pujols said Sunday. "I don't care about the numbers. I've got plenty of time when I retire to look back."
