11-Year-Old Amputee Dreams of Being Major Leaguer
As a baby, 11-year-old Peter Zucca's parents were told he had two months to live. But he defeated the cancer that threatened his life, and now dreams of being the first Major Leaguer with one leg. Yesterday, he and his classmates met Sharon Robinson, daughter of Jackie Robinson, at Citizens Bank Park. Peter was a first prize winner in MLB's "Breaking Barriers" essay contest.
