Ratings soar in early games of LCS

|
The first three games of the League Championship Series have averaged a U.S. household rating of 4.2, the best two-day average in terms of television viewership since FOX and TBS began sharing LCS coverage in 2006.

On Friday, a combined 12.8 million viewers watched the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the Phillies in Game 2 of the NLCS and the Yankees' 4-1 victory over the Angels in Game 1 of the ALCS later that night.

Game 2 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium is on Saturday at 7:57 p.m. ET on FOX. Game 3 of the NLCS -- with the series tied at 1 -- will resume on Sunday from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia at 8:07 p.m. ET on TBS.
