"Bournie felt his hammie a little bit, I think when he laid that bunt down," Tribe manager Terry Francona said. "I think he hopefully has caught it to the point where it's precautionary and not something that will cost him much time.
"I think we'll know a heck of a lot more tomorrow. Even as the game went on, he's examining a little better."
The 31-year-old veteran, in his second year with the Indians, missed the first two weeks of the season after tweaking the same surgically repaired left hamstring during Spring Training.
After the game, Bourn said he felt OK and that his hamstring was much better off than it was after the Spring Training injury.
