• Bobby Abreu, six days a Met, got a second start in three days in right field Saturday night because Chris Young was ill. Abreu hit a two-run homer in the first inning, his first dinger since September 2012. Granderson moved to center for Young, and Abreu was in his regular spot in right.
• Going into Saturday night's game, Mets starters had delivered quality starts in 10 of the last 11 games. The 16 quality starts for the year are the fourth most in the Majors.
