Three Minor League players suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Chicago White Sox Minor League left-handed pitcher Feny Arias has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Arias, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League White Sox, will be effective at the start of the 2014 DSL season.

Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League right-handed pitcher Geremia Espinosa has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Espinosa, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League D-backs, will be effective at the start of the 2014 DSL season.

Free agent Minor League right-handed pitcher Elou Jean has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Jean will be effective immediately upon his signing with another Major League organization.
