Dodgers to host Star Wars Night

The Dodgers will pay tribute to the latest "Star Wars" series on the penultimate night of the regular season -- Oct. 3 -- at Dodger Stadium, prior to the Dodgers' game that night against the National League West-rival Rockies.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets in a special "My Town" section of the 47-year-old ballpark labeled Dodgertown, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They also will receive a free T-shirt featuring the visage of Jedi Master Yoda.

Those seats will available in lower reserve sections 56 and 60. Group tickets for the section are $35, and individual seats are $45. Full details can be found at

Aside from the T-shirts, fans seated in those sections will be privy to unlimited ballpark favorites such as Dodger dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn and soft drinks. A special "Star Wars" themed menu will include Cloneburgers with cheese, R2-BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and Ice Sabers (popsicles).

Prior to the game, "Star Wars" characters will be available in Autograph Alley. The pregame on-field ceremonies will include these characters, one of which also will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. In-game elements also will include "Star Wars" characters, trivia, clips and music.
